A Camden Hills Christmas
Our family has never ventured away from home at the holidays. We always felt like it was better for the kids to be at home to celebrate. The only time we mentioned leaving was when the children were small, and they were terrified that Santa wouldn’t find them if we left home. Since they are a little older, we have convinced them that it would be a great time to head up north for about a week and see the festivities in another town. We found some great Maine hotels online so we can stop in a few different cities along the way to check out the scenery. One of the Maine hotels we found is the Ledges By The Bay in Rockport, Maine. We had a wonderful time in Rockport and the location of the motel was right on the ocean so our kids were amazed by the ocean and the snow during our stay. It was a wonderful trip for the holidays and we liked it so much that we are planning to go back this summer.
