Advance Training In Digital Instrumentation
The classified ad read “must have basic knowledge of analog and digital signal theory and applied principles”. The instrumentation training program was just what my naval career focus had been for the past 12 years prior to my retirement. When reading the ad, it seemed that this was ideal for me but would industry accept me based on my gender. There are many areas in industry where women have not made those in-roads but it was worth the venture. Application was accepted and following the interview, the results were favorable. To say the educational process was a cake-walk would be a stretch but completing the program was worth the effort.
