Collection of Civil War Love Poems
One of my favorite things to do to waste time is hang out and wander through one of the local bookstores. There is something about the combination of the smell of coffee and paper that I find comforting. As I was browsing through one of my favorite bookstores yesterday, I found the most interesting book of love poems. The poems were a collection of writings that soldiers in the Civil War had written for their loved ones. The publisher had gathered these poems, along with stories about each one of the soldiers, and compiled them to make an extremely touching and moving book.
