My friend Herb
My buddy Herb gets a lot of grief because some people don’t pronounce his name correctly, and some people say his name with a soft sound at the beginning as if he were a natural supplement or something, but I say his name properly, using the hard sounding letter.
I asked him if he was getting more grief these days now that herbal colon cleansing is becoming a new trend in health attainment and he replied in the affirmative to that question. So I guess it doesn’t pay to have a name like Herb when there’s a trend surrounding that name.
