GEORGE TURNER
Guitar/composer/lickin'stick
George Turner resides in Charlottesville, VA, where he has been a staple on the jazz scene for years.
His well honed jazz guitar style brings back days of Grant Green and Jim Hall, but he puts this tradtional sound
into modern edged compositions to create his own style. George has been featured with the likes of Arturo Sandoval, John D'earth (Charlottesville trumpeter/Grammy nominated arranger), and Bill Frisell.
George has also been teaching guitar lessons for years; Hope was a pupil.
