Kindle Book Choice Growing Every Day

Amazon have over 400,000 Kindle books available for use on their phenomenally successful Kindle reader and that number is growing every day. On average, a further 500 new Kindle books get added daily. That large collection of books has been a key factor in the success of the Kindle to date. As well as downloading and reading Kindle books, anyone with an Amazon account can upload a book to Amazon’s website – in Word format or html – and Amazon will publish it. They even give the publisher 70% of the revenue from any sales (minus a few cents for delivery fees). Not many people know about this facility at the moment – but it could become a popular method of self publishing in future – which would tend to grow the number of available Kindle books at an even greater rate.
