My Search for an Affordable Car Insurance Company

Sunday, February 14th, 2010

I’m a very loyal consumer. I’ve stayed with the same insurance company for years now, and have consolidated all my insurance needs with the same company. For the past 25 years, they’ve treated me well, and have met my every need. I talked to my friends recently, and found out how much they’re paying and it upset me. I went online to try and find a local chicago insurance company. What I found was that insurance companies compete for your business and that’s the way to save. I got about ten different quotes, went with another company and haven’t looked back since.

Dirts and Dusts are Not Welcome

Saturday, February 6th, 2010

Everyday, I take a carpool on my way to work. A friend of mine works in the same building as I am and two of his friend also works within the area. I really find his car neat knowing that everyday, 3 of his friends would take a ride with him. Everything in his car looks clean while some are brand new like his newly installed garmin gps. He said he does his carwash if possible, ever other day. He makes it a point that even his car mats are clean and doesn’t accumulate much dust and dirt which explains why no one is allowed to eat inside the car.

Keep Record Of Donations

Friday, February 5th, 2010

When donating a car make sure the charity is eligible to receive tax deductible contributions. Make sure you keep a copy of all the paper work. When you donate a car to charity make sure you receive a receipt for the transaction as proof so you can get your tax deduction.

Be aware that non-cash donations are one of the most common triggers to an audit by the IRS, so you’ll want to document the value of the car and keep records of it.

Just remember that by donating a car you are doing a very good thing. Donating your car to charity, you should be very proud of that!

Moving to New York

Sunday, January 31st, 2010

I just got a job offer today from a company in New York.  I have been looking for a job for quite awhile, but every time I get an offer and like to research the area and get an idea of the difference in the cost of living.  I called around to real estate agents to see how much it would cost for me to get a nice apartment, and I called an insurance agent to find out about the New York auto insurance rate.  I also look that different neighborhoods online and looked at how long my commute would be.  After all of my research I decided to go ahead and take the job.

More Than One Season

Saturday, January 30th, 2010

I need a new ice scraper.  I want a good one.  I have been through a bunch we have bought at the dollar  store.  They usually break in one serious use.  Especially if you are scaping ice, the plastic front part  gets jagged and the ice gets  really hard to scrape.  I do try and  save money with Discount Auto Accessories but I don’t like wasting money.  I need something with a strong  blade and also have a brush on it.  We get a lot of snow in Buffalo so I need a scraper that is going to last more than one season.

My Hairdresser Told Me Where To Get Car Insurance Quotes

Saturday, January 30th, 2010

My hairdresser Lynne is such a cool girl that we have become friends.  We sometimes do a “girls evening out” when we just go out to a nice restaurant, have a few cocktails, and enjoy some fine dining and great conversation.

Lynne told me at our most recent girl’s night that she was just loving her new vehicle, which is a gorgeous and flashy black sports car.  She told me she even got really great rates, and said she got those car insurance quotes from a website.  I was pretty amazed to learn you can get such awesome rates and good coverage online.

The Bills Piled Up

Saturday, January 30th, 2010

When my husband was out of work the bills began to pile up. It was the first time in our marriage where we were getting into debt. I am so thankful that he found work relatively quickly. We were able to get through this trying period with little damage done to our credit. This was evident when we went to purchase a car last month. The first question the salesperson asked, when we talked about Car Financing was “how is your credit”. We answered honestly and held our breath. We were relieved when after a credit check, he said our credit was outstanding.

Why Get Used Construction Equipment

Sunday, January 24th, 2010

Caterpillar heavy equipment is probably one of the best known of all construction machines. Buying used construction machinery is a cost effective way of building up your fleet of machines without having to spend your entire operating budget to do it. New machines cost a lot and in some cases can actually be twice the price of a good and reliable machine. If you are just starting your contracting operation you have a choice: buy two of the machines that you need from a reliable and reputable Used Construction Equipment dealer or buy one new machine and then wait until the budget will allow a second purchase.

In addition to Caterpillar, there are other brands including Komatsu construction equipment, Kobel Company construction machinery, Ingersoll Rand construction equipment and Blaw Knox Construction equipment. Within each brand, there are different lines, different machines and different sizes, so make sure that you are buying the right one for your businesses needs.

Trailers For Sale Or Rent

Friday, January 22nd, 2010

When you consider the huge cost of a specialized purpose built tow truck it’s no wonder that many car transportation companies are investing in this economical option of vehicle transport. The other great thing about a car transporter trailer is that it has fewer moving parts than a truck and most of them attract no road tax at all so running cost are also minimal too. You can even park another car on the back whilst the unit is not in use so storage is no great problem either and the trailer is there ready to hook up whenever you need it next. used horse trailers for sale or rent could solve any vehicle transportation needs for both major businesses or private individuals alike who are seeking a cost effective solution.
