I don’t think anyone should be able to use things like a divorce record search to find such personal information online. It’s bad enough that the government is keeping these records in the first place, so why do they have to make things worse by putting records on line? The government shouldn’t even be in the marriage business, which would take it out of the divorce business, and then we wouldn’t even have this problem. It’s one thing to need to know if someone has a criminal record, but what business is it of anyone who got divorced from whom? You think it’s your business unless you’re the one on the receiving end of prying eyes. There will always be nosy people, but why does the government have to be involved in everything?
