Brief History of Dynamics AX

Microsoft’s Dynamics AX reporting and BI system is a part of a the enterprise resource planning software family. This program is available in 45 languages in most parts of the world. This program uses the development language of X++. The early versions of this product were called Axapta and included versions 1.0-3,0. After that, the later versions were referred to as Dynamics AX. The later versions included 3.0 SP6 through the latest version AX 2009. 1983 saw the beginning of the development of Axtapa in a Danish company. It was primarily targeted at European companies, but spread to America in 2000.
