Are we obligated to pay taxes?
The very name Canadian Revenue Agency indicates this is the branch that collects money for the government that is why I believe they would never give up taxes although it maybe unconstitutional to collect taxes. This is most likely the government’s biggest source of income, imagine what the government would do if they abolished the income tax; although this was the plan suppose to be the plan. Would we need Tax Lawyers without the income tax?
The answer is yes because there would be other taxes possibly a consumption tax because the government needs revenue to operate one way or another.
