Minor Scales
Playing minor pentatonic scales can feel extremely repetitive. All you’re doing when you play this type of scale is five notes up and down, up and down. It’s enough to drive a person crazy sometimes! My son is learning the guitar and he practices his scales for half an hour a couple of times a day. Although I am so proud of him, I wish he felt the need to play in his room instead of in the living room where we all can here. I’m so excited that it won’t be long now until he moves up in his lessons and will begin to play something more.
